• What will the kids do on Sunday?

    During our Sunday morning service, kids will meet with their respective age groups to learn about the life of Christ, learn and memorize Bible verses, work on crafts and other activities, as well as pray and worship together.

    Snacks are provided for each class—please notify the check-in desk if your child has any allergies.

  • What will they learn?

    We are going through the Simply Loved children's curriculum. What we love about these lessons is that they connect everything we read in scripture to Jesus and the good news of what He has accomplished on their behalf.

  • Who will be serving in the Children's Ministry?

    Along with our Children's Director, Joely Coker, background-checked volunteers serve our children each Sunday.

We offer multiple classes for kids of all ages, from 9AM Kids Discipleship Classes to 10AM Children’s Church!

9AM Discipleship Classes:

Nursery - Regular nursing room *also available during 10AM worship*

Preschool (Ages 2-3) - Small classroom in Children’s Hall

K4-K5 (Ages 4-5) - Large classroom at the end of the Children’s Hall

1st - 3rd Grade - First classroom left of the main stairs

4th-6th Grade -Second classroom left of the main stairs

10AM Shades Kids Celebration (ages 2-6 only)

Preschool - Kindergarten - Large classroom at the end of the Children’s Hall

Check-In Details

- Nursery: check-in before service and checkout after. Offered from 9:00-11:30AM.

- Children ages 2 - 6th grade:

•    Check in your child at the check-in desk or on the iPad via Church Center and bring them with you to worship.

 •    During the beginning of service, Joely will call up all children ages 2 - 6 to be prayed for and dismissed to Shades Kids Celebration.

•    All children with check-in stickers can go directly to children's church. If your child is not checked in at this point, you may accompany them during children's dismissal and check them in.

•    Dismissal Safety: Children will only be dismissed to the parent holding the check-in sticker with the matching code for the child's sticker.

•    Sometimes at SVCC, services will go past 11:30am; in such cases you can pick up your child at that time and bring them back into the service for the remainder of worship.
