The SVCC Women’s Ministry provides space for real relationships to form among the women of our faith family as we seek to deepen our walk with Jesus.  Whether we are single, wives, mothers, or grandmothers, our desire is to become the women God created us to be and lead others toward Jesus.

Women’s Bible Study
Each semester the women’s ministry chooses a specific Bible Study that will take us deep into the text of Scripture for the purpose of transforming our hearts and lives. This winter, we are going to be studying through Beth Moore’s – “Jesus, The One and Only.”  And this spring, we will be learning about six different women of the Bible – who they were, how they lived, and how their stories fit into God’s overall plan.

Monthly Fellowship
Each month the women’s ministry does one Saturday night event just to provide a time for us to deepen our friendships.

Women’s Retreat
Each fall our women’s ministry takes a weekend retreat to set aside time for Bible study, prayer, rest, and relationships. Our retreat this fall is going to be at Camp Sumatanga – October 4th – 6th.

Women’s Adventure Weekend
Every spring our women go away for a weekend of high adventure: caving, rock climbing, rappelling, etc. It’s an incredible time of relationship building that you don’t want to miss. For information concerning the adventure weekend contact Shae Wall (wall_shae@bellsouth.net).
