The SVCC Women’s Ministry provides space for real relationships to form among the women of our faith family as we seek to deepen our walk with Jesus. Whether we are single, wives, mothers, or grandmothers, our desire is to become the women God created us to be and lead others toward Jesus.
Women’s Bible Study
Each semester the women’s ministry chooses a specific Bible Study that will take us deep into the text of Scripture for the purpose of transforming our hearts and lives. We meet at SVCC on Monday evenings, 7-9pm. All are welcome!
Starting October 2nd we will begin our new study reading Philip Yancey’s book, Prayer: Does it Make Any Difference. We meet from 7-9 p.m. in the church lobby.Contact Sara Cory for more info.
Each month the women’s ministry does one Saturday night event just to provide a time for us to deepen our friendships.
Women’s Retreat: Prayer
This year’s retreat is going to focus on the discipline of prayer. What is prayer? Does it make a difference in my life? How can I pray effectively for others? For myself? For the world? Come and join us as we wrestle through those questions and more as we spend time in prayer at the feet of our King.
